WebBedrock is actually very close, but in regards to modding you are definitely correct. The big thing for me is shields and other off hand items. Plus I'm also a huge Linux fan, and I doubt they will be releasing debian packages of Minecraft. Bedrock doesn’t compare to java if you want to do massive technical builds.
