For some reason, this was originally the only way to get steam to load controller configs. AKA by loading BPM at least once with controller on (even X-bone controllers). So far with Windows 10, this was not required. WebIn the install/input folder the file is just called GAMEPAD.JSON, I don't know if this is just the default name but I don't believe it has successfully changed controller configs when trying to apply them through the Big Picture controller settings. This issue has persisted through multiple fresh installs of the game on various different drives.
